Can I offer congratulations on raising a couple of fine Sims?
I'd <3 to be able to become attached to a Sim or Sim family and play them that long. Admittedly I still haven't had any infants yet so I should definitely test your theory. I do recall once, being rather sad at the passing of Bob Pancakes who died of old age, but not before seeing his eldest of two daughters married. I've never got that far again...
