Oh, those seed packets - why so many?

I don't believe it's a bug. The gnomes are simply overly generous with the seed packets. My Sim received so many packets he was able to fill a greenhouse with veggie and flower plants within days of the gnomes coming to one of the holidays. I placed some of the 'seeds' into the family refrigerator as I always have my Sims use fresh ingredients in their food prep. That cuts down on the cost of some of the meals, too. But I gave up on finding any of the rarer seeds after four Sim days because the house was carpeted in seed packets each morning. I may ask them back in the future. I am hoping that with his gardening skill now maxed out he will stand a better chance of getting the rare seeds.

My Sim still gets the seasonal seeds, with gardening maxed out and the green thumb reward. I'm using the fruits and veggies I don't need as bait for fishing.

I believe the gnomes not disappearing once the holiday is over is a bug. So if you don't want to get overwhelmed by seed packets I think the only solution is to delete those little buggers! :D

If you're gardening it's kinda difficult to get those seeds you want when you open them so it's more beneficial in that respect.

Usually I'll just delete the gnomes after awhile since every time they teleport more seeds spawn.

Gnomes are very generous, but when mad they hold a grudge. My sim pleaded at least ten times to be forgiven and she gets shocked. :neutral:

Lol, they are obnoxious wanting donations for Harvestfest along with gratitude. Donate and chances are they hate it. WHO HATES PIE AND COFFEE? 8< These are like my two favorite things and everyone knows pie is the ultimate dessert. Yet, they like fruit cake? Proof that gnomes are evvvvvvvvvvvvil.

Sorry, I have a tendency to really enjoy Fruit cake. It just has to be prepared correctly, otherwise it's as heavy as a brick!

Well I don't really garden in my main game that much, but I have the gnomes around just so I can make money off their seed packets :D

The picture was taken on a lot where they do garden quite a bit. But this also happened to a family living in a tiny flat in San Myshuno, gnomes decided to drown the sims in seed packs. Ok, sop they grew one herb in a pot on the balcony, but there wasn't room for more pots...

About gnomes being generous every time they move - those on picture never move. They have been standing there on the same spot for about a full year. And a couple seed packs are added every other hour or so. The packet circles grows bigger and bigger, and they are soon out of space.

Funny thing is that only 2 out of 4 gnomes got the glory. I don't think my sims even interacted with the other two. What a gang!

I'm glad for the seeds some of them are hard to get now. I haven't tried leaving the gnomes out after their holiday. I put them in inventory and if they are decorative I put them where I want them again. I haven't had constant seeds after that.. maybe cause I've moved them?

Yeah, especially since seasons messed up the harvestables at the festivals (which was my only reason for going to those things).
