Ok I Had It Happen....

I've never had this happen before and is it really a glitch? My Sim came home from work (she's a detective or training to be one and so I go to work with her) and we came home and there was this random lady in the house who I never met before and what's really bad is that she was a celebrity so I couldn't introduce myself and like ask her to leave. Is there a glitch or do I need to do something to fix it? It wouldn't have been really a big deal if it was someone my Sim knew, but still annoying to come home and randomly have someone in your house.

    I have so many townies and homeless sims that i've made a rule: anytime a sim enters my home uninvited i erase him/her from the game. Privacy invasion paid with their body and soul being erased from the world ? btw my sim lives in Sulani in the house by the volcano.
