Am I the only one a little concerned that the only veil we see in the trailer is that short one on the cover? Not that there's anything wrong with that veil or anything, it's cute and I like it...but where are the others? :# Or is that just a me thing? lol

I mean that tradition was because of forced marriages and the bride covered her face to show obedience and the groom would lift the veil after they get married because that would be the first time he sees the bride and technically can't change his mind because they both said "I do" and officially became married.
That is not true, or at least, that's not the entire story. Veils that covered the face was due to the belief that the veil warded off evil spirits.
If it wards off evil spirits why remove it? In my country the tradition is that you remove the veil and replace it with a scarf. And you pass on the veil to an unmarried woman.
Lol@ why remove it. We believe that the center of the head should always remained covered to protect from possession and other evils as well as modesty. Boys and Girls alike but i'll save that for another thread. Some choose to do it and some choose not to stick with the tradition. It's all up to the individual. But either way I do hope we get at least one nice veil. ?Captain best expressed my thoughts about that veil on the cover ??

Here’s the rest of my two cents:
I’m going to be a tad cruel now, but that one on the box cover art is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen stuck on someone’s face. She might as well wear this insect repellent. A lot more cheerful too:
The short veil is a vintage style called a bird cage. It's probably attached to the hair, but I feel like this style could actually work well in the Glasses category.
The longer one on the Indian bride is also likely attached to the hair, but is probably the only way that style would work with how hats work in CAS.
We also don't know if these are the only veils included yet.
There are several decorative hairstyles that work great as wedding styles without veils, such as the flowery up do from SE or the low bun with pretty silver comb from VG.
We have various hats from other packs that would make good alternatives too, including some with short veils.

Old fashioned? I get it that you are not a fan of Say yes to the dress! :D
The problem with this is how hat meshes work in TS4. When a hat is worn, the hair underneath is cut away and leaves a bald patch to prevent the hair poking through the hat. You can see this happen with broken CC.
Now while this doesn't show with most hats, as the hat itself covers the bald patch, it would show with veils as they are translucent. The only way around this is to make the veil opaque to cover the bald patch. Nobody wants an opaque veil though.
I think a low bun with flowers with an attached veil could be doable. Make separate textured and straight styles. Would have loved to see some more headbands like a pearl one or a tiara. A little off-topic but the close-up of the new sandals killed me. I was so hoping for new heels.

A variant on a Juliette cap would probably work well in cases like that, or other designs that could have an opaque crown but leave the rest sheer/netted etc.
I doubt that there's any front veils that cover the full face. As has been pointed out, the animation required probably couldn't work out. But "hat" veils with the veil falling to the back are probably viable if they're done right.

They could make them same as hats, and include the missing part of top hair in the veil design, with different colour variants to match the hair colour.
The only way I see them doing this is like they made Agnes and Agatha Crumplebottom's hats, just a veil that is attached to the hairstyle. Similar to how it was in Sims 2 (I actually really liked the wedding CAS items in Celebration Stuff back in the day, which ALSO included items for birthdays) and 3.
