I just thought it would be a fun thread to make! I don't think it exists elsewhere but correct me if I'm wrong by all means.. Also feel free to attach cute pics of your spooked and enamored pets! I love 'em. I don't have any to show yet.My sim Irving's boxer dog named Sarg' (Sgt. Chalky) is terrified of the bath tub. Every time Irving has a bath he shivers and pants and cowers, it's so bad he has to go and sulk in the living room for a while after to calm down! I'm not sure whether it's the bath tub, or the sight of poor Irving nude in it that's truly scaring him. :D I haven't discovered any obsessions of his yet, I'm looking forward to it though. He's my favourite doggo so far.

@mariah6194 the swimming pool obsession seems like quite a nice one! all of my (IRL) dogs absolutely hate/hated water, I'd always take them down to the lake and watch everybody elses dogs go in and just see mine stood pathetically moping in the shallow water before hobbling back up the rocks. :D 'Least I might be able to enjoy the dog swimming thing in Sims, ha!@Phoenixx Permanent torture. Poor animal.

So far my doggo is afraid of the TV, dishwasher, and computer. The computer one makes me laugh, as she's developed a psychic trait apparently to know when it gets turned on, even while she's downstairs and the computer is upstairs. She'll abandon whatever she's doing to run upstairs for the sole purpose of whining and cowering at the computer while my sim uses it. The TV one is slightly annoying. My sim just wants to watch her movies, please stop making me feel bad for having it on. :(She loves the radio, however, and will sit and listen to it when it's on. There's something else she enjoys but I forgot what it was, will have to keep an eye out for it!

@surraaaaaa (I hope that’s the right amount of a’s!) my dog (irl) runs down the stairs whenever somebody opens the fridge door..

My Sims' cat is obsessed with the digital piano. And she loves to sleep on her back on top of the refrigerator, with her head hanging over the side. I was really impressed that they included this quirk. One of our real life cats does that -- on the back of the couch, not the fridge -- and every once in a while she'll overbalance and slide off.

That's my household, and I finally found an answer: the lampshade over sim's head is apparently symbolizing the cone of shame the pets can get at the vet. There's a whole thread of people with their pets being continuously afraid of the vet, apparently triggered by the health boost or wellness treat given by the vet. The funny thing is my dog there has never seen either, but I guess that's why it passes and isn't stuck, just sort of... occasionally appearing fear of vet, passing on its own.

In less buggy news, there's four dogs in the household I'm mostly playing, and there's a variety of fears and obsessions, although most often appearing ones are the obsession with the bathtub and the fear of stove.

Bruce is afraid of the TV and the computer.
He loves the toilet, the fridge and lit fireplaces. He ignores non lit ones.

My sim is apart of the social media career, and every time my sim goes to update her status her cat gets freaked out. I think that’s funny, the only time my cat freaks out is when the computer is in use.

My little dog Duke is afraid of the T.V so we haven't watched T.V in a while lol. He's also obsessed with the Fireplace, but I am too so we have something in common.

So far my black fox Sombra is obsessed with the toilet and coffee maker and is afraid of the tv. My basenji Ramses is obsessed with the fireplace and jukebox and I think he's afraid of the computer, I'm not sure.

I do not know how this makes sense, but one of the dogs in a household of mine fears the computer yet loves the tv. It is always fun watching her get obsessed over the tv but the next moment be fearful of the computer, all in the same room.

@Taliferina Haha aw, I don't like the TV one also! In another save my pet cat was petrified of it and having guests over was a nightmare, 'cause all they do is switch it on and off again! Cute, I hope Sarg likes the radio, that'd be adorable - I love when dogs do that little dance thing!
