Open world totally breaks immersion for sure

Improved open world, remember this video?

It shows how sims can finally be connected together and share the same world but live different lives. The same concept should have been brought over to sims 4 and should move on to sims 5 with new details and activities. How did we go from that to loading screens? Now it just feels like someone took our sims and stuffed them right back into their homes and locked the door. The only escape is throw a loading screen.
