Oversized Crops Question

I am unable to weed, water, or spray my oversized crops for bugs. Unless I vigilantly fertilize the crops with the vitality fertilizer, they die. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I’m able to tend mine just fine, you may want to check your mods if you use them.
