The ceiling fans are animated but I don't believe they offer any cooling effects.

Reading the patch notes I was like okay, nothing to get too excited about...ceiling fans and sliding doors...OMG. They are forgiven for no spiral staircase...for now.

It looks like it was Caribbean inspired? :o

So excited for ceiling fans! I wish they could cool sims off though.
