When I re-entered the game after updating, the mods hadn’t even been disabled. So I’m guessing there’ll be very little disruption to mods, if any.

This was unexpected! On a 6 hour flight home and my rent issues have been solved!

I'm not seeming to use free real estate on rental properties as yet. Unless i am doing it wrong? It works for residential.

Nice to see hot fixes being rolled out. Gives me hope I'll be able to play For Rent soon. :) Can't avoid the patch anyways when I reinstall the game.

This is great. Though I hope the next fix deals with fix lots that have been switched from rentals to regular houses, breaking them. I want to play my main file, but I'm worried just playing while a broken lot like that exists, will corrupt my game or something. It's like a ticking time bomb.

Exactly! I am not touching the main feature of the pack until this bug has been fixed. It really IS a potential game breaking bug and I sure wonder why people are not more vocal about it. This bug literally breaks lots, and even if a fix comes out, we don't know if the fix will apply also to older saves and repairs lots that were corrupted by the residental rental bug.

Fantastic question... Definitely not this patch as I've seen it after For Rent release.

@Gordy @mrs_starkey Yep, that bug is one of the ones that isn't fixed yet. The patch fixed some of the big For Rent bugs but not all.

For now, I'm afraid you'll have to re-add it back with this cheat:

traits.equip_trait trait_HSExit_Graduate_Valedictorian

I experienced this. For console players that cannot use cheats, this is a serious bug.
