Person asking to hang out never shows up?

This has been happening to me too. Also, whenever someone asks if my sim wants to meet up somewhere for a party, it's a 50/50 shot that the inviter won't be there...

I realized that was because of their work schedule. I've had a few people invite me over and when they aren't there, I look at their schedule on my friend's list, and that normally wraps up the issue. However, a child on Sunday doesn't have anything to do, so I have no idea why he never showed.

Whenever my Sims get asked to hang out and go one a date, the Sim that asked always leaves right afterwards and the event thing is over. This can be at midnight and it always happens and the other Sims don't even have jobs sometimes :neutral:

Don't know if it's a related issue but there's currently a bug where the Sim who invites you to do something together leaves shortly after you've arrived on the lot.

When my Sim is invited to a party, I click to talk with them first, then while they are chatting I rush and click on DJ booth to "dance together" (depends on where they are meeting, mine was meeting at the bluffs). That makes them stay and they are always tired and end up napping. If I don't click quickly when meeting, they disappear!

When my Sim is invited to go hang out at Candy's place, I ignore it because she is never home, but her roommate is!

Not sure about the OP's problem though. That does sound weird!

This is what I do as well. I have the pause on lot setting in MCCC, so I can queue some stuff up before I unpause. If you just try and chill a bit, they just scarper.
