Pineapples - what are they for?

Very good question! I wish IL had brought more recipes.

Doesn't the pork dish that you make on the banana leaf pit use a pineapple?

There is a pork recipe that uses pineapple and the green pepper is meant to be eaten raw. I forget what is says when my sim researches it. Everything from the garden has a purpose. Crating, eating, income or fertilizer.

I believe each harvestable counts as "any fruit" or "any vegetable" or "any exotic fruit" from Baking recipes.

How else are your Sims to prepare Peppers and Sausage? As for pineapple in RL I can think of numerous ways to use it. One of my very favorite fruits! As for the game, if they haven't incorporated pineapple into any Sulani specific dishes that would surprise me. And it would be for realism. I agree.

Ah, I see. I was just confused because with coconuts we got get the cocolato drink thing, but not with pineapple. Thanks!

Pizza!!

Kahlua Pork with pineapple, a dish prepared in the new BBQ cooking pit, seems to list pineapple as an ingredient and is cheaper to make if your sim has one in his/her inventory. I like how this harvestable looks in the game (both the plant and the fruit). But I agree that pineapple should be an ingredient in more dishes. I wish some of the new food stand dishes (like Poke Bowl and fish stew) were added to the fridge. I have to make do with pretending it is now part of the grilled fruit in the barbecue (it looks like it has pineapple in it after all). But it would also have been nice to have a few pineapple-specific recipes (like pineapple upside down cake, ham and pineapple pizza, pineapple shrimp, stir fry pineapple chicken, and pina coladas). Honestly, you’d think the game developers have never cooked with the fruit.

That's what I thought. I knew I had seen pineapple as an ingredient when I cooked a dish for an odd job.
