No, I have trees in my greenhouse and they're growing fine.It could be you didn't give them enough space?

Which wall height do you have? Trees need one of the taller wall heights to grow indoors.

I added a second floor to a part of my green house, removed the upper floor and planted the trees under that. They were fine .

You're getting that message because there's a roof over the balcony so the tree won't be able to grow. In order to grow trees indoors you need to have the tallest walls. The balconies count as indoor because they have roofs over them.

Is it out of season? I know sometimes this can happen
