I am having the same problems. My plants are sheltered and they are taking forever to grow. I am having a hard time doing the Freelance Botanist aspiration because it takes so long for a plant to get to the point that I can evolve it. I also need a Death Flower, but at the slow rate of growth, it does not look I am going to be able to do the needed splicing and growing to create one. I could use cheat codes, but I don't want to do that. I like the Seasons Expansion pack for the most part, but gardening really sucks now.
