Playing as Caleb (and Lilith) Vatore
After about 3-4 years since the release of Vampires, I finally decided to see what all of the Caleb hype was about. So, I started a new save playing as Caleb. His sister Lilith is his roommate, so I'll be playing her too, but Caleb will be the focus. I plan to play at least until Caleb finishes his aspiration, The Good Vampire.
I started playing the siblings on a cloudy summer day. I checked each of their traits and powers.

I noticed in this close-up that Caleb looks like a male version of me. In addition, he has the materialistic trait, which I normally avoid. He is also immune to sunlight, which just reminds me of Edward Cullen.

The first thing I did in gameplay was have them get jobs. Lilith is a freelance artist while Caleb is a part-time retail employee. (He works the night shift, of course!)

Then, I got to work on Caleb's aspiration by having him increase his Vampire Lore skill to level 4.

For the next tier, he had to make some friends, so he befriended Victor Feng. (Lilith might turn him and his wife later though...)

I had Lilith keep herself busy by going for a jog.

Then, as the sun set, I had the siblings head to the Stargazer Lounge.

Lilith turned Marcus into a vampire. (I have a height mod that's causing... issues.)

Caleb became good friends with Morgan. I have a plan for a story where Caleb falls in love with Morgan and promises to protect her, but then Lilith turns Morgan into one of them. (Hmm. Sounds a little like Twilight...)

As I continued playing, I started to feel sad for Caleb. He's a guilty drinker, so he has to ask sims for permission to drink from them. However, whenever he asks a sim that isn't a friend, the other sim gets mad and lashes out. If it weren't for the plasma packs, Caleb would be going hungry a lot. To make matters worse, he has the foodie trait, but cannot get nourishment from human food. Perhaps many simmers empathized with his tragic story?
