Only for low-end laptops. If you have a decent spec'd laptop, you don't want to check laptop mode. It lowers the demand (and graphics) on laptops, so they don't struggle as badly with the game.

ok, thank you so much.. this is a new laptop so I will uncheck that option.. first laptop I have always had desktops..

Graphic settings should give you a description if you hover over them.

You should check your specs to see how well your laptop can run the game. I generally recommend having it plugged in when you play.

I believe OP has a gaming laptop, so nah, you don't have to.
