Playing with Autonomy off is so much easier on the blood pressure

I never played any differently ever since the original game and when I joined the community around 2011 I was genuinely surprised to learn that most simmers have autonomy on. It's not just a lot easier without it, also my beloved sims act like nutcases on autonomy.

I use autonomy to simulate the effects of drugging, mind control or similar temporary adverse conditions. A day on autonomy was part of my sims' boot camp training when I still had compulsory military service.
