- BlueSeaWavesSeasoned AceI had it work once for a sim that my sim was “friends” with. Whenever my sim went to the gym, Brant Hecking would also be there! So my sim...decided to be a bully to him and eventually he got used to him. It was freezing though one day and he froze to death outside. So my sim pleaded to death and it worked! Brant and him hugged it out while my sim quietly picked his pocket

What's the point of pleading for a Sim's life if they're just going to get an extra day?
I look at it this way: an elderly sim is already at the end of their life, but pleading could give you just enough time for the last goodbyes. Still it would be much more beneficial to plead for a younger sim facing an untimely death.
But does the younger sim still only get one extra day or does it depend?
No. If the sim is young and dies unnaturally (not old age) them coming back from the dead has no effect on their lives. They'll live to old age and die naturally (provided they don't meet another untimely end, which has nothing to do with them being brought back from the dead).
The only one extra day is only in reference to elder sims brought back at the end of their lives.- I'd say it's fairly low, I've only been successful in pleading for life once. And my one experience, and those I've seen and heard from other simmers, your sim only gets one extra day, so I just don't even bother anymore.
- For me personally my odds are pretty equal. But if you didn't know a sim that has a Confident or Flirty mood has better chances. My sims don't live long after pleading anyway so I don't plead unless I need them to finish my story.
- It has never worked for me but I rarely try. I let the game play out without much interference.
- bshag4lvSeasoned AdventurerThe only time it has worked for me was when my sim froze to death in an alien spacecraft, go figure, and she died right after they dropped her off. Her roommate demanded grimy bring her back to life and it worked. But she is still living way past the one day...so I don't know about the length of life of sim after revived by grim reaper. It's the only time it has worked, lol.

I purposely chose a child with a high charisma skill, the dying Sim was an elder and only lived one more Sim day after pleading for them. When your times up it's up I guess :anguished: - ValiantRedKnightNew Spectator

The “and then he died again a day later” only applies to elders who have lived out that stage. As far as I know it being revived gives a sim immunity from death for 24 hours as a hidden trait, but it won’t kill them when that time ends. "QueenMercy;c-16823657" wrote:

it's interesting you say that, because my sim lived for two more days before dying again, and he was an elder..- I was playing with Sacrificial's 'Possessed Child' mod some days ago and had my sims pleading for sims lives at least 5 times; it worked 4 out of 5! I was pretty surprised to be honest and I'm not sure if it was just plain luck.
