Point of thermostat?
I have not tried to set it on COLD, so I don't know if there's a difference, but my sims pay no attention to the difference between "normal" and "hot". Same clothes, same behavior, same moodlets? W...

Keep us posted on how it goes with the fireplaces. My sims have one next to their front door and it wasn’t enough to keep the house warm, they got the chilled moodlet unless they went over and used the “warm self” interaction on the fireplace. I’m really curious if multiple fireplaces would solve that problem though.
The fireplaces work great. My sims don’t need the thermostat in cold weather using it. And them lighting it autonomously is very cool.
