Possible fix for bugged washing machines

I am one of those who has been complaining about bugged washing machines ( they suddenly become unusable "no usable washing machine on the lot error" after days or weeks, often after spending hours after sim hours upgrading them, and none of the usual bug fixes (reset object, move it etc) works.

I suddenly realized the other day that at least 9 times out of 10, if you get that error message or just can't start the washing machine, do the reset object (debug) cheat on your laundry bins, not the washing machine.

It seems it's actually the laundry bins that bugs out, not the appliance.
