Possible Lottery Winners?

I imagine it's just the odds.

Statistically speaking, you'd have to have the lottery happen hundreds of times to get decent numbers to compare. Anything less than that, even if it looks like there's a pattern, there's not enough data to say for sure.

Mayor Whiskers and random stray pets always win in my game. I don't know what they would even do with the money.

I've had some premades win the lottery off the top of my head I remember Lily Feng because it made me pull a face. I've moved in Mayor Whiskers and some non-played townies elders that won with the awful plan of doing away with them. So far though Mayor Whiskers runs that household now and the old folks have an luxury apartment in back... So much for my deviant plans.
None of my sims so far has won but other simmers have reported it.

I had one of my sims win in my rotational save. I was playing them on lottery day and bought tickets, but rotated away and they won the next day when the results came out.

I had major whiskers won the lottery one time too.
You can expect what I did next :D

It’s all up to chance, of course our own sims aren’t always going to win, it’s a lottery after all. I’m afraid to test my luck though, I don’t want my sim to win because that’s simply too much money for my liking. I’ve had 2 sims take part and crossed my fingers they wouldn’t win

I guess it’s just that I have about 20 played families, so it was weird that the ones I wasn’t currently playing never won. I think I had the lottery happen at least ten times.

There were plenty of threads asking if anyone has won the lottery when season came out and some people actually did win. The sim you are playing can win.

I had the lottery only once. The winner had only a first name, I have never seen that sim in my game. So I think the lottery winner might just as well be a fictive sim, not even a NPC.

The very first time any of my Sims bought a ticket, she won the lottery. In another save file my Sim lost and an elderly male townie won. In my most current game play, the lottery has came up twice and both times my Sim lost. The winners were a female elderly townie and a YA female townie vampire. All of these townies were found in the "not in world" tab under household management.
