I never realized how bad this 'pranking toilets' was until I disabled mods to work on a build for the Gallery. I was naive on the bubbly purple in all toilets everywhere in my game. Not sure what it was, I thought maybe something from the bizarre plants in Strangerville. I was naive. A mod (MCCC maybe?) most likely prevented the toilets from exploding. Every single toilet had to be 'activated' to get the stupid prank gone, then repaired and flushed and cleaned.Is there a way to disable that mischief "prank toilet"? If not, is there a mod to eliminate that interaction? I don't mean disable the effects, I mean eliminate that any Sim can do that. :angry:

Welcome to another episode of "Bad Decisions in Game Development" :D ...and yes, you should be able to disable it with autonomy scan in MCCC.

i had johnny zest (with a makeover) in my NSB save... all he would do is prank the downstairs loo... no idea why - i never told him to do it - just of his own free will, he spent his life... pranking the downstairs loo

I know there are two in my Main save. Erik Cantrell, my Global Superstar was fond of pranking the toilets in his dorm room, in an earlier iteration of this save. I just popped into his younger brother's household ever so briefly yesterday to find that the toilet on the main floor is still pranked. Astrid, the wife, is also a Goofball. She pranked this ages ago. I was doing a rotation, one week per household, but I'm now sticking with Erik. He was the fourth round. I'm in the fourth week in his household. So, nobody has used that downstairs toilet! Interesting …My advice is to not use the Goofball trait, or see if MCCC can turn it off. I turned off death by emotions until it's toned down a bit. This after I experienced five deaths by Hysteria. The game managed to target my Global Superstar. He died twice and was on his way to dying a third time, when I switched save files for the one I copied prior to whatever patch it was. Suddenly, Erik was okay. I rolled back to the birth of his twin nephews, even so, before his sister and brother-in-law died initially from Hysteria. I also purposefully didn't invite them to the Charity Event Erik was throwing, that time. Then I set MCCC to prevent this kind of death. It's fun on the one side, I do want more random deaths in the game, having started with Sims2, but enough is sometimes too much.

My spellcaster visited the magic realm and there was only one toilet and I was staring at it like "it's pranked, but he has to go and there's no other place and I don't want to send him home... fine, he'll just have to use it..." :( I wish there was an option to avoid the prank if you notice it.Then again I kinda think it's funny at times, because once, before the spellcaster incident, one of my couples went to a restaurant and then the lady had to use the loo and I saw there was something purplish and thought it was some kind of freshener (I hadn't played for some time and had totally forgotten about the toilet pranks) and then the poor lady got splashes all over herself and I was like "nooo, they still haven't even got their food! what do I doo?" and then I made her wash her hands thrice and imagined she tidied herself up the best she could and then she was able to wait for the food and they ate and left right after that. It made a funny little story and I didn't mind it that time, but it gets old fast when it happens all the time and you have no option to avoid it.

It is annoying. Very annoying. Especially when they prank their own toilets then use them themselves.

All the toilets in my game are "armed" with that prank. I was putting in 3 toilets for a venue, a nightclub I think, then saw people go and drop something in each of the toilets. Then the purple bubbly started. Nothing happened when people were using it. Though I know now it would be constant mayhem. Same when working on a residential. 2 toilets, then one Sim that lives there drops something in both the only toilets in the house, and he is the only one living there. Stupid! :D

Hmm, I like that trait on some sims. I guess I'll have to just continue to have purple bubbly toilets everywhere. (roll eyes emotion)

You can disable the action.

Click on your sim and select: MC Command Center/MC Tuner/Enable Autonomy Scan. Then X out of menu.

Click on a toilet - Select Autonomy Scan and deselect and so they're not in parentheses any more. X out of menu. Click your character again and select disable autonomy scan, close menu and you're done. :)

This only disables it for one Sim or one toilet?
It's the 100's of NPC's (Played and unplayed) plus the random townies that do it. Then there are always more spawned.

I will try this anyways.
