Horse breeds? I saw a list of 20 breeds, but aren’t there about 30 of them?Is Haflinger one? How about Thoroughbred?Can you customize name the breeds to change them to something else?

Can we give the mini goats and sheep treats and can we use the sheep's wool in knitting and cross stich?

Question - when you "race the barrels" does a third appear? or is it just the 2?

Yes. In fact this is how my first test sim (simself) tried riding the first time. You can attempt to ride any horse you see. Whether they will let you stay on their backs... That's another story. You don't need to ask permission either.

Finding the Unicorn Horn in CAS:

Click on the head of the horse in CAS. There should be head part sub categories on the right (eyes, ears etc.) Horn is the bottom one.

Barrel Obstacle:

Just the 2 barrels, going in circles. It might change at higher levels, like jumping pathing does (goes from one way to both ways with Intense Training).

The obstacle is just a training object to raise the horse Agility skill. The actual Barrel Racing is done off camera in the arena rabbit hole.

Hello! Very sorry if this is the wrong place for this - but I seem to have 2 instances of Chestnut Ridge upon starting up the expansion. Is this a known issue?

Bump to @GrumpyGlowfish 's question about creating horses in CAS and then selling them.
Assuming it's possible to just create horses in CAS and sell them over and over, is there any advantage to adopting/rescuing?

And my own question: Is anything obviously broken?
(Yes, I'll be following AHQ for this primarily, but interested in your take.)

Just to follow up in case anyone else has this issue, using "repair game" fixed this problem for me!

This is normally a mod issue.
