Question about "bring out cake"

I don't think so. I randomly took my family including the birthday Sim out to dinner. That's how we generally celebrate an adult's birthday in my family in RL. I learned after that that it's possible to place birthday candles on the cake you have them bring and from there voila! I haven't noticed any others in the restaurant aging up, however. Although I've had more than a couple of deaths …Hm :open_mouth:

I will & let you know. In the meantime I think there was something quirky on the lot. After the cake test I went back to more remodeling (I never quit) and things were not working right - objects would not release - undo would not work - lots of problems - so I bulldozed the lot and repaired the game and put the original Hogan's back on the lot - things seem to be ok now.

@crinrict - tested - in remodeled Hogan's - had candle on the table "little light" - cake arrived - did the candles twice and aged up 2 Sims - everything is working great.

Hey @crinrict - remember all those cakes I ordered that were not delivered by the restaurant...and I thought I saw the money being charged...I just found 9 cakes in my household inventory. Interesting.

Yeah. The cake ends up in family inventory and there's no way to get it out. Some kind of bug i guess.
