- LiELF5 years agoLegendI hope so. I'd really like more fantasy colors. But if not, maybe they will add more in the future.
- Scobren5 years agoLegendI hope so too. It would be fun to have more rainbow characters to make Sims like the Simpsons again.
- SEREFRAS5 years agoLegendI heard they Wii also fix the hair color tones as well.

That would be great. Where did you hear that? "PlanetSixam;c-17674162" wrote:

This was the only thing I've read regarding updates to hairstyles. Is the above what you're referring to?
I think it's referring to some of the more, I guess you could say "ethnic" hairs, specifically the large and small Afro styles which have been derided by a lot of community members, and not just Simmers of color. I revisited them recently when I was doing a small makeover on Bob Pancakes as part of a project I'm working on, and they are pretty cringe-worthy. Not sure what the other two styles are; I'll have to do some cruising through CAS. In general, I think the hairs have shown the greatest improvement over the course of the game; sometime take one of the base game premades (like the Goths, the Landgraabs, or even Eliza Pancakes) and just play around with different hairstyles and see how much their appearances improve.- I am hoping they will at least improve on the unnatural/occult skintones that are already in game (basegame AND packs), I do not expect new ones though, as they seem to focus more on accurate representation of realistic skintones, the way I understand it.
Also hoping that haircolors will be next, they did state that this is just the beginning and we do need more and better haircolors just as badly imho. - SilentK0085 years agoSeasoned AceI would hope for sliders for the occult-skintones.

As they said 100 skin tones and sliders, it mean also will make tones of basegame unnatural colors?
My guess is that the slider (or sliders if it's more than just brightness, perhaps contrast, tint, glossy/flat, or more?) would have to apply to all skin-tones if it's programed into the core game code. - atreya335 years agoLegend

I hope so too. But occult skin tones are already excluded from sun tans and the focus for this update seems to be on realistic skin tones so people feel represented in the game. I really hope unnatural skin tones are included but I am not assuming the will be automatically.
