Question: Do unplayed sims steal from open vaults on their own?

Not that I know of. Sims normally don’t steal unless they are equipped with the klepto trait. I have never had this happen with non klepto sims but to be sure I would keep the vault locked.

@iamoz96 I actually don't care if the funds are compromised, I just wondered if unplayed sims could possibly steal from it at will. I'll try to see if I can test it some kinda way.

I actually think it would be funny if the balance changed without my intervention and I can track it somehow by checking the unplayed household's funds.

I don't think unplayed sims do anything at all unless they are on the same screen as the played sim.

I don't think that's true as I have other unplayed households that somehow progressed in their career several levels. One actually reached Level 10 Musician and I created the household prior to the story mode create-a-sim. It's really strange. I wish there was a Sims 4 guide that explained these ins and outs.
