- If i get attached with some sims, I make them a vampire usually at the end of their adult stage. That way the others can still age and die.
- @izecson Cool to see I'm not the only one who does that. ^_^
What do you do with future generations, out of curiosity? For me, there's something weird about having a vampire's kids eventually be the same age as the parents. (Or even older, if the parent turned as a young adult and the child didn't turn until late adulthood.) "katrinasforest;c-16918026" wrote:

My sims who is in the avatar is turned few days before he became an elder, his father is in his late young adult and his mother is around the same age as him both of whom are vampires as well, and not all of his childrens were vampires, only three out of 11 are, I dont feel it weird though, actually it is quite good for story telling you know "a grown up man who has a vampire father younger than him" .- I kind of play with half way aging on, it’s only for active household and once they get to elder I don’t want to see them die so I age them down. I mainly have aging on for the children. I’ve never had a sim age to elder and die before, unless it was a sim I hated. I do have aging on for townies though.
- For me it's easy. I put a lot of effort into my sims and seeing them die feels like a waste of my time. I've spent the last few years watching the same sims in my game sort of grow and evolve (without getting older) and I just enjoy that much more than typical legacy style gameplay.
- I set goals and for sims and put so much work into them. I like for them to have very full lives and think that normal lifespan takes away from that, its way too short for me and I don't get to enjoy each life stage. What keeps me going are the stories I make up for them, and sometimes Ill spice things up. I age up when I am done playing that life stage and feel I have gotten everything I wanted from it. I actually didn't start doing this though until I started my main legacy and got really attached to each sim. I'm on generation 6 now and should probably be on 10 at this point. They are where I started keeping aging off because there are just too many of them and I enjoy rotating between each household.
you can see what I mean by viewing my family tree: https://www.theplumtreeapp.com/public.html#58b1ff32551ca10e2b8d2f88 - I play with aging off because I usually create a new sim every time I want to try a new career and if I feel like playing an old career I can just flip back to that sim whenever.
- Busufu7 years agoSeasoned AceI always play with againg off, just can’t see my Sims die. Therefore I never have the chance to play generations :D . Sometimes I regret it, I would love to see my Sims develop.
So, I just enjoy rooming around with my Sims and discover the gameplay. That's a lot of fun too :)
A cheer for Vampires and their immortal life! B) - Simburian7 years agoSeasoned AceAgeing off just takes the stress of playing away. You can just amble around trying and visiting everywhere and enjoy the sites/sights. :)

That's true. I think I've just got to remember the second generation are now all adults with their own immortal lives and stop thinking of them as perpetually stuck in their teenage years. ^_^
