Sooo, I was just wondering about this. For all it used to lack, I'm kinda glad I stuck with TS4, because now that there's toddlers, a city with apartments, family play, pets, vampires (and probably witches soon, like within the next half year or so? #wishfulthinkingtime ;)), restaurants, spas, vacation destinations, SEASONS and different climates and all that, I honestly really like TS4. I always have a lot of fun playing it. So, personally, considering the amount of time I've played it in just these last two years, and how much enjoyment I got out of that, I guess it would rate it a solid 8. So, what's your rating?

About 7.5 - I love Seasons and it definitely helped my game-play. But I'd still love to see a University Life, Generations, and an Island Paradise type expansion pack. Along with some new content never created before. I'd like hobbies, attraction system, adjustments to the emotions/traits; and I'd like more places to go on dates, or double dating would be cute.+ there's tons of stuff I'd love them to release for toddlers/children and teens. As well as Adults / Elders. (Would like to see Adults have mid-life crises. )And definitely Witches. We need more occults in the game and they should fix the Aliens too. :x.

Still a 6 for me. I mean it's alright, the toddlers are great, and Seasons looks good, but it's still missing a lot of base game staples 4 years later. It'll be a 7 for me if they manage to add these things, like vehicles (even TS1 had carpools and taxis), NPCs like burglars, cops, and firefighters, and body hair (introduced later on in TS3, but I don't think this should take 4 years to implement). It can go up to an 8 if on top of these, they can also overhaul the core gameplay systems like emotions and traits. The emotions are nice, but they feel somewhat superficial and they're easy to manipulate.

I have a run at the moment and am completely in love with my current family and their storylines. Seasons transforms everything. I just had the most perfect christmas of all times.

I'd go with an 8 -- since Seasons I've played for hours every day (except when ill or busy, or when I have to let my husband use the computer). I've got a current save where my family is working on finishing all the collections and all the careers (haven't decided if I'm including the GTW careers), and planning a few one-off saves (I have a vampire save going to develop vampires including sun resistance, then scattering them about future saves, and I also want to play saves on both short and normal lifespan because I usually play on long).

A few niggling bugs keep it from being a 9 or 10, and I'm still looking for additional features like improved education, a farm/rural pack, and my beloved witches (or better yet, a modern reboot of Makin' Magic), but when you look at earlier content and packs and compare to what we have now you can see a steady and marked improvement.

It's not perfect, but it's my favorite game. I play almost every day and I always have so much fun :)

I give it a 10 its a perfect one of a kind game, it's a lot like the online worlds where you do not have to follow a course but you do whatever you wish in game. Also the fact that they allow Mods and CC. which takes the game over the top. <3

It's not perfect, but it's my favorite game at the moment. In fact, I'm about to get a chance to play :smiley: Although there are plenty of things that bother me (bugs) the positives outweigh them and I love the game.

I love the simulation part of the game (I can make my on stories), not so crazy on the game side (aliens abduction, a long with things that do not fit my story line). The seasons was great for adding atmosphere to the story that I was creating, after all in the advertisement it said that you could create your own stories. So what I would like is new great interactions, and great new places, things like horses, I love the pets and toddlers. We already Knights in this game, how about king & Queen royalty wear and furniture. Please free the babies from the bassinet, so I can take the whole family to the park, and new clothes for them would be nice too.

i'd actually rate it 5-6. i think it needs improvement.
but i don't feel "meh" about it. i like it and i do play it often. so i just chose this option.

Rate sims4. 5-6. Started with Sims3 purchased all packs. Played to the end til sims4. Jumped right in there. Enjoyed the collections, the vacation area and the free world. GTW, was fun added SanMyshuno. Since then nothing new repeats from Sims 3. Played them once don’t want to play again. Working on 100 generations now.

My feelings are actually a mix of 5-6 and 7-8. I love the game. I play it everyday, but I do still feel like there is a lot lacking. But, it's leaps and bounds better than what it was even a year ago. So, they are headed in the right direction, I just wish it didn't take so darn long to get there.
