Did you know that when your sim leaves a werewolf pack, you'll get asked why are they leaving the pack. Here are the options and what they do:
I changed my mind! I don't want to leave. - This will cancel the pack leaving process and keep your sim in the pack.
I'm going to take the cure. - The reaction to this response depends on the pack. The Moonwood Collective will react positively, not only giving your sim Wolfy Warmth close sentiment and keeping them a friend of the pack, but they also give them ingredients for the cure. The Wildfangs will react negatively, with a possibility of giving the sim Abandoned Pack guilty sentiment as they don't understand why would they want to abandon the werewolf life.
Pack life just isn't for me. - This will give the sim Wolfy Warmth close sentiment and keeps them a friend of the pack. They may also receive a parting gift, which might be either a Moonpetal, Grilled Lunafish, Grilled Mushroom Steak, Grilled Blue Steak, or Grilled Steak. The Moonwood Collective may also give Wolfsbane or Moonpetal Punch.
This pack sucks and you stink! - This will not keep the sim as a friend of the pack. The other pack members will react negatively and the sim leaving will suffer a large relationship loss. This may also give the alpha a Bitter sentiment.
... - This will keep the sim a friend of the pack.
It is great to know the various options that appear when a werewolf decides to leave the pack and the results @EgonVM 🙂 It will help simmers that play werewolves when choosing which option to select.
There is something I really haven't seen much info about with werewolf packs: Pack Rivalry.
Oh boy I'm so happy I finally cracked this mystery. So then, so then...
So, as you may have seen, when your sim is in a werewolf pack, then in the pack panel under pack leader's name, there's Pack Rivalry Status. Usually, it's neutral. But what is it and how can it change.
Short answer, it affects how werewolves from The Moonwood Collective and The Wildfangs packs treat each other. Every pack member can change it when it's neutral, but only alphas can end feuds and alliances.
There are 3 states:
Alliance
Neutral
Feuding
So, two packs start out neutral to each other. Every pack member can change the status by simply socializing with the opposing pack member, but only when it's neutral. The interactions won't guarantee the change, so you might need to do more interaction.
To start an alliance, you can either (all of them require at least 35 relationship points with the target):
Share Concerns About Greg
Discuss Pack
Praise Pack Values
To start a feud, you can either:
Do mean or mischievous interactions (requires -20 or lower relationship).
Have a fight with a opposing pack (unless it happens during Neighborhood Brawl holiday)
Mock the opposing pack to the member of that pack.
Declare your pack as superior to the member of the opposing pack.
So, once changed, what happens next?
When you have an alliance going on, these effects take place:
Packmate gifts can be given to the opposing pack members. This will raise the pack participation.
Items can be brought to the opposing pack hangout. This will raise the pack participation.
When a werewolf is near an opposing pack member, they'll get this moodlet:
It is a lot of helpful and informative information that you have posted about Werewolf pack rivalry @EgonVM It is a great help to understand how it works 🙂
It is a great benefit for elders that have a career and also good that sims who will soon have a birthday will not need to be concerned about a lay off @EgonVM 🙂
