Im creating a Spellcaster will be a teen who lives on her own in an abandoned shack in the middle of the woods with no electricity and a big strange pot (cauldron) that she can use to cook. The devs said it can be used off the grid so I’m excited to use it. I’m hoping there will be some books non spellcasters can read so I can have my sim discover the magic realm before she finds the portal.
What stories have you come up with or in the process of coming up with? 🥰
I don't really make stories but I kinda have stories in my head I just don't blog about em. I'm going to use the cute premade in trailer and make him master magic <3
I love that you can have the pets from cats and dogs as familiars, so I may make a wild spellcaster with a wolf as her familiar who roams granite falls.

Oh me either! But ‘stories’ is just a universal term I guess haha.

A young teenage girl has just moved from Brindleton Bay to Glimmerbrook with her younger brother, parents, and golden retriever. After settling in, the girl takes her younger brother exploring. While doing so, they find a path. The brother is tired now, so the girl takes him back, but returns to the trail after she is sure her parents are asleep, flashlight in hand. After an hour or so on the trail, she comes to the ending. She sees something peculiar, but is sure it's just a trick of her flashlight. She promises herself she'll return in the morning, just to see. And return she does, and the next morning, what she saw is still there. It's a golden arch with a strange, iridescent light shining inside of it. She comes for a closer look, but trips and falls straight through the arch. She stands up, and she is no longer in Glimmerbrook, but a bustling shopping center filled with people in strange clothes- and ghosts! And are those Fairies? And Phoenixes? And by goly, someone is flying on a broomstick! Still in shock, the girl sees an older looking woman beckon her over. The woman turns around and walks towards a large house. The girl follows her, and soon after realizes that the land she's on is floating in the sky! For heavens sake, what is going on? Did she hit her head to hard? They cross a strange bridge between two different... um... we'll call them floating islands. They walk inside a strange house, and she is given a strange bottle and is instructed to drink from it. She does so, and not long after, she finds herself on the floor by the trail again. She is still lying on the floor, and swears it was all just a dream, when she notices her hands are glowing. She runs home, tells her parents everything, and she goes back to her room. The next morning, it's official- the family is moving to Willow Creek. So they pack up all their things, and prepare to leave, but in the middle of the night they hit the road without the girl- her family abandoned her because they thought she was crazy. Now, the girl is homeless (they did sell the house) with nothing but 1,000 simoleans her family was nice enough to leave her. What is going to happen next?
Sorry it's a bit long, I got too excited.
That sounds amazing! Similar to mine except I have no idea how she became homeless yet haha. I think I’ll do missing parents thing or something lol.
I've wanted to make a "swamp" witch for some time now. I might have to settle for a forest witch though. I'm glad the cauldron can be used off grid. Not sure she would be totally off grid .. but I'd like to have her live in a rustic setting. That loner alchemist. Loving that you can set a pet to be a familiar, because she'd have to have a cat. I don't know if she'll go good or bad or somewhere in the middle though... The story can go almost anywhere as long as she doesn't get "citified". I'd love to know if there is an immortality potion and what it takes to make it ... as that could play heavily into how the story might go...
I also want to play out a witch that lives as a normal person in public...

Yeah not new ideas but it sounds fun to me.
The developers have confirmed an immortality potion! No word on how it's made or what's necessary, but they have mentioned it! https://twitter.com/SimGuruRomeo/status/1163861189320798208?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw
