I’ve been enjoying this event so far. I think this kind of event is fine, especially if it’s tied into the launch of an EP as it is this time. I think it adds to the excitement and build-up to the EP release day. Each week’s quests don’t take very long, which I like — they’re just long enough to be interesting, but not so long that I feel frustrated that I can’t get back to my normal save game. So I’d be happy with events like this maybe 3 or 4 times a year — once each roadmap. Any more frequent and it might become annoying. And we are getting quite a lot of free stuff, and this is a more fun way to get it than just to wait for the SDX drop to download.
But I also think there should be a way to opt out for those who don’t want to do the event and don’t want to be constantly reminded on the UI that it’s happening.

This week's quests were much shorter for me. Maybe because I had my Sim skill building in gardening and cooking prior to the drop.
Only frustrating thing for me was having to plant another apple and cherry tree when I already had those.
