@mw93 Do you even own TS4? I went and read several of your comments to get some insight into you. According to your comments, you never upgraded to TS4.
I dont even agree with OP but searching through their post history to prove a point is uncool. Unless they are saying something damaging/harmful or making threats, its getting too personal looking past at their history. Thats toxic behavior imo
It is not toxic behavior because if it was then the comments would not be there for others to look at. It is important to know if someone owns the game, stopped purchasing years ago and/or does not play TS4.
Nah thats Twitter behavior lol. Its not for you, its for the user. Its just available to you.
I do think EA needs a stronger backbone, its up to them whether they think a complaint warrants an actual change. If they bend like a soggy french fry, thats where you should direct your anger, not at customers. Customers will complain no matter what, even if Sims 4 was perfect. They need a stronger identity and integrity. But because they care only about the money and trends, that's why the game is so inconsistent. Stop blaming people and start blaming EA.
Here come the labels—It is not Twitter behavior. If Twitter did not exist what would you call it then.
Show me a business that does not care about trends, profits and PR. Welcome to capitalism.
Anger is a strong emotion for a game. Come on now, you’re making me laugh. I don’t need to be angry at EA or the consumer. EA isn’t asking for the feature to be removed; it is the consumer. If one feels the game is lackluster, thank you consumers for all your nerfing request.
Of course, it is up to EA if they decide to remove or change any feature based on feedback—that is a given.
I will go back and read prior comments until they remove them-they provide insight. It’s the complainers and those who want things removed that are the problem not the one’s who offer constructive feedback which you of course don’t feel that feedback needs to be constructive (took that one from memory).
Toxic. Thats the first word I used. Its good for a business to care about trends, but it cant be what pulls the direction of the game. Thats why Sims 4 direction is all over the place.
EA is not the source of the complaint, but they're the ones who take action on it. If EA didnt bend to every other person and their complaint against the game, there wouldnt be so much backlash when someone asked something can be removed. Because EA is so flimsy, once someone complains about a feature everyone gets paranoid and upset because they think something else is about to get nerfed.
You can call it anger, annoyance, grieveance, fustration, pet peeve, nuisance - whatever you want to call it-direct that towards EA.
I disagree its the complainers fault. As a business owner you have to have enough insight and discernement to see when something is a real issue or if its something fickle. Its their product, their responsibility, and its their decisions that will drive people away at the end of the day. But the 'complainers' will just move onto another game.
Now there are small changes that dont affect the game as whole if EA implements it, and there are legitimate complaints that EA should take into consideration. But its their choice to make the call and where the responsibility lies.
And past comments, provide insight? Or provide ammo? All it does it antagonize people especially if you draw back from a previous comment that isnt even up to date anymore /innacurate (feelings or circumstances has changed since then) and just draws out arguements. Its just petty behavior. Its better to ask questions up front (i.e so, do you play the game now?) Instead of bringing up past comments.
