- Kita53995 years agoSeasoned AceThere isn’t a way to delete a Sim from the family tree. If your family tree starts at the parents you could save your current family of 3 to your library, delete your old one, then place a new copy back in your save. It will lose other relationships but get rid of the baby in the tree. There are mods that can be used to quickly restore relationships if you don’t want to build them back up (or for relatives they may have had).

Doesn’t seem like it.. if you had a back up save, even if the Sim was pregnant you could use a cheat to remove the pregnancy. If the child was living you could use the MCCC mod to have it adopted into another family (if you get it taken away), not sure if it removes it from the family tree, someone else might be able to confirm that.
Edit: after some testing I found that you can remove a toddler or older from the family tree with MCCC. Not sure if it will work for you if you can’t age up the baby in yours if it’s somehow deceased. - ...how’d you get a baby to die from overexertion? Lmao

That's the issue, it's a baby and it's dead so welp, but I'll your first suggestion and see if it helps.- Kita53995 years agoSeasoned Ace

Yeah, honestly it might be a better choice. Babies are not supposed to die in the game, so you might risk corruption if the family was left that way. Good luck, hope it works out! "SelinaKyles;c-17795213" wrote:

Honestly, even I'm confused about how that happened but I'm sure one of my mods has something to do with it.
Maybe I was trying to terminate the pregnancy in 3rd trimester but somehow the baby was born before the termination and the "game or mod" decided to kill it after it was born? Honestly, I don't remember lol- The only way to remove anybody physically from the tree is through mods via remove all relationships but the sim has to be alive.
- So I did it and here's how;
You'll need MC Command Center mod for this, so my baby is dead and I want to remove her from my Geneology,
Start with both the parents, MCCC > Relationships > Delete realtionships > delete the baby from there.
Now do the same process with the brothers/sister then grandparents.
Basically, delete the dead sims relationship with everyone in the genealogy (but it is very important you start with the dead sims parents first and work your way up)
I hope this makes sense lol
Again, thanks to everyone for helping with this. - nikkiheathcote955 years agoSeasoned AceDeleted
