- They're working on a cheat that gets rid of the plumbob I think. At the very least, they are aware that headlineeffects.off doesn't remove it.
- I don't think so. In TS3, hideheadlineeffects also removed the plumbobs. It doesn't do it in TS4. I hope they fix it. I dislike having them there at all.

Is there a way to remove plumbobs from sim's heads when taking photos? I don't mind seeing them as I play but they are kind of annoying in photos.
Before you take a pic, press the Tab key on your keyboard. It will remove the UI tho.
EDIT: So, I actually tried this out again and I realized the plumbob is still there except that if you zoom in a bit, it will be easily out of screen. - I still haven't been able to get this to work for me.

Are you sure it will work? I thought it only turned off thought bubbles... - Cool! I didn't know the cheat was working. What I have been doing is selecting a sim that wasn't going to be in the screenshot, so only he/she had the plumbob.
- A quick trick is to hover the mouse over your sim. This makes the plumbob disappear in place of a name tag, but the name tag doesn't show up in photos. ;)
