My first few renos were "room" renos, and I chose the room. One "room" from a house in Strangerville, had the living room and dining area combined; I did the whole area and she liked it.
I had a "kitchen" reno yesterday. It was in the same room as the living room, with no wall divisions between the two areas and no actual dining room, only an island with a few stools. The kitchen itself was galley style. I stuck to the kitchen area and redid the whole thing, including the kitchen island counters and stools, while ignoring the living room space. I redid the floor tiles in the kitchen but left the walls alone. They liked it.
