Roommate dissatisfaction in Discover University

I'm having a lot of trouble keeping my roommates happy. They have a shared full kitchen, full bathrooms attached to each bedroom, high quality beds, computers and desks, and access to a pool, picnic tables, grills, bikes, and so forth. Their beds and computers are individually assigned, and their entry doors are locked to outsiders. But they keep telling me they have nowhere to sleep and that they are missing "things" to be comfortable. Does anyone have roommates that don't constantly whine that they are missing "things" or that they can't find anyplace to sleep?
