- I make all my played sims unable to have children when I'm making them in CAS. I only play adult couples, no kids.
- LoriTSp7 years agoSeasoned VeteranMy limit for children is 2 per household, regardless of whether I do rotational play or not!

I always play 7 households in my rotation cos it works out well dividing them between the 28 day seasons.
Therefore it doesn't matter how many kids anyone has, I will always just play 7 homes. I tend to pick a fave child and move to them when I get bored with the parents.
@elanorbreton your method is quite interesting. How do you deal with aging?- I limit my families to 1-2 kids, unless its accidental (like twins on the second pregnancy) OR if their aspirations are about having a bunch of kids.
- elliebreton7 years agoLegend@Karon I have ageing off for most of the time, I turn it on for all (played and non played) 4 days during Summer (each household is played for 4 days each season) and turn it on again for 4 days at new year.
I used to only do the new year switch on but found them ageing too slowly for my liking. I may adjust it more, depending how I feel it's going. "elanorbreton;c-17227141" wrote:

For those of you who are rotational players, do you limit the number of children your sims have to keep your rotation in check? I find myself only allowing one or two babies because I don't want to get overwhelmed. If not, how do you keep the rotational schedule in check?
I only allow one baby per household but there are occasions of oops I let slide in. I have had two families end up with triplets UGH. Anyways my rotations takes a while now haha. I play 7 day seasons and I don't rotate until the household is done with the year(28 days). - Daephene17 years agoSeasoned AceI started my rotational save with one large family, but once the children grew up and formed the rotational households, I only let most of them have one pregnancy. Right now I am aiming for one household per world, so when there's a new pack with a new world, the non-heir twins get to found a new household. I haven't had triplets yet.
I only have aging on for the active household and keep my rotations lined up so everyone ages together, though I don't always play in the same order. - Lumigens7 years agoSeasoned TravelerI don't have a limit on how many kids they have, I just choose my favorite kids to keep playing in rotation.
- I have 305 sims, 204 are couples, 7 more are in, um, alternative relationships. I play with aging off and most of them don't have kids. Of the few kids I've had in-game, most are adults and in their own houses. The family play is just not good at all and I don't go into the one house left with kids. I play whichever house I feel like and I usually redecorate or take them to a community lot to cause trouble.
