I feel as though running away is not an option cause teens can't have a house by themselves. You have to trick the game by bringing them in from the gallery/your library in order for them to have a place of their own......if I remember correctly. So what would running away do? They would run away for, what? A couple of hours......a day? Then come home? The point of having this option would be to have those kinds of stories where the teen was kicked out/had run away to start their own life somewhere else. Therefore the family bond broken.....drama ensues beyond that. I just don't think its needed really.
