Scientist Career Lvl. 7

All you can do is do the tasks for the day, just like any level of the career. And depending on the tasks, that might be difficult, if any kind of gardening is involved. Since plants will only be harvestable at 5am, when nobody is at the science facility.

Oh I know and That's the hard part is the tasks were suppose to do. Only like 6 times I've been able to complete them. The serums especially are the hardest and the. Trying to master all 10 levels before she dies my word. Dont think its gonna happen now.

You don't have to join your Sim at work. Should only take 2 or 3 days to get a promotion if you treat it like a rabbit-hole job. Not as much fun but not as much frustration, either.

I usually just select the other options if I don't want to take the time to make the serum (and maybe have it go wrong). I know sometimes you get stuck though with only a few options that work.
If you have completed the promotion requirement though ... just send them to work alone until they get a promotion.

Sometimes I bought seed seed packs as a way to get the produce or flowers I needed (for the serums).
Not to plant, just to use straight from the pack..

Good point. That and set it to 'work hard'.

But to actually play it? I haven't reached lvl 7 yet with my scientist. Haven't played her enough I guess. I would like to do it once all manually though. Just to have done it.

Have you let the Sims getting all the breakthrough? If yes, completing the daily tasks are one of the performance review and also a good relationships with your co-workers (give them a call even if it's outside of your Sims working hours).

The tricky part is when it involves serum. Either you need to drink it or to make it, worse you need to get it be tested first. I would say, make sure your Sims has invented the cloning machine (it will be very handy when you need to clone the materials and the serums). You can either grow, collect the materials or purchase it, then start cloning everything. If it is possible, bring back the cloning machine to your Sims house and perhaps create the serums at home (since you have the chemistry lab as a reward - make your own secret lab at home). Then later on, keep all the serums and materials in your Sims inventory before going to work. :D

Do they still get promoted if you dont join them? (Cause I need to get her lvl 10/10 for the NotSoBerry challenge.
