Seasons Present Piles Can be Birthday Presents Too?

So, I discovered something yesterday that I had no idea about regarding the present piles that came with the Seasons pack. I had initially thought these were only intended for holidays with the “open presents” tradition, but yesterday I decided to place them down during a birthday party. (I had originally placed down CC piles of presents in the “party room” at the venue, but I decided swapping those out for the real ones couldn’t hurt.) When I clicked on them with the birthday Sim selected, the option to “open birthday presents” came up. It even let me select which Sims should gather around and watch!

Maybe everybody else knew this, but it was a genuine surprise to me. It made the party feel so much more real. (Pro tip, though-if your Sim is aging from child to teen, have them open presents after aging up so they don’t immediately outgrow their presents.)
