Send Alien Babies Back To Homeland?

Has anyone actually done this? My male just had an alien baby and among the options was to send it to Homeland. So does this mean the baby is just gone from the household? Does it result in accompanying the baby? I've yet been able to reach the alien planet and am trying to get there. My female Sim is at UFOligst (?) level at her career. I'm afraid she's going to die of old age before I can get her there. Hope someone can help me a little... thank you

  • I haven't chosen this option but I once had my sims half alien offsprings disappear from the family tree so I'm guessing they returned to their homeland
  • It let's you get rid of it if it was unwanted. Because if you think about it, its kind of a rape baby
  • I totally don't dig getting abducted every other week by aliens, so yeah I sent the thing right back. You get a warning that you'll never see it again and you don't but (shrug). I mean it used to be you had to jump through some hoops for the aliens to come and it was this big surprise and kind of special and you could avoid it if you wanted. Now, they just show up like at EVERY SINGLE HOUSEHOLD. My male sim came back pregnant and I kinda wish I could have ended it right there and not dealt with several days of crazy pee and eat and pee and eat and pee and eat... I have the male pregnancy mod and when I want him pregnant I'll see to it.
  • Hello.
This bottom of this section of simsvip's Get to Work guide explains about the send back to homeland option.

Also, this part of the guide may help you with having an alien as a part of your household.

If you want to extend your sims life so that they don't die of old age too soon, you have a couple of options.
You can either go into settings - gameplay - lifespan and select 'long'. This will increase the lifespan of all the sims in the game.

    Or
You can go into your sims rewards and use your points that you earn when you fulfill a sims 'wants' and buy a potion which is worth about 1,500 points I believe. That resets your sims current life stage.

I never want to delete sims. This action deletes alien baby from game forever.

I've done it. It makes it as if the baby never existed as far as your household is concerned.

The alien baby will show in the family tree (genealogy) under Simology (lower right of screen).

No, not forever. The alien baby will show in the family tree (genealogy) under Simology (lower right of screen) of the human parent. You might be able to meet him/her if you take a rocketship which has been upgraded to have a Wormhole Generator (Get to Work expansion), which is one of the means of getting to the planet Sixam, where many aliens spend their time.

While I love the willingness to help other Simmers, let's please be cognizant of when a thread was last active. In this case, the thread hasn't been active in about three years. That in mind, I've locked it down.
