So if you've read my story called Bizzare Times in the Alexander Household, then you know that poor Camron has been "pollinated" three times by three different technicians. The thing is that each "mother" is a different alien but each "mother" is named Senior Pollination Technician #3. So I'm wondering if anyone has ever had their sim impregnated my a different technician? I mean, if you're going to just use the same title for each pregnancy, at least make the number random. Am I right?

@PenguinFoop The Senior Pollinator #3 position is a specific job title and is staffed by personnel in three shifts M-F and rotating fill in's over the weekends. Your Sim may have been pollinated by the swing shift, night shift and one of the weekend shift workers.

I'm not sure if you're joking or not. I mean even if that's true, why then do they have the #3? It just doesn't add up to me.

@PenguinFoop I can’t remember, but my played Sims have had at least seven pollination nooboos.The exact same Sim. Pascal and Lazlo’s nooboos showed up in the family tree as both cousins and half-siblings.

These Senior Pollination Technicians are #3 because their work isn't good enough for them to get promoted to #2.

Pollinator #1 Is the Dept Head and does not go out in the field, too many administrative responsibilities. Pollinator #2 is the assistant to the Dept Head and is also an administrative position. Pollinator positions #4+ are largely interns and trainees, lab techs and scientists or in records and archives and therefore are not fully qualified for field work. So, that leaves the #3 Pollinators as carrying the primary responsibility of going out in the community and implementing the interspecies cross-pollination work.

can't they let us assign pollinators ourselves at least : ( or let our sims abduct

its just so sad its all bald lady aliens with similar genetics
