I did encounter one where my sim was sad that she had lost a friend so I invited that sim over and made them friends again, and the sentiment stayed a couple of days until it disappeared, which I thought was a little weird. But other than that I have not seen any particular weird sentiments.
The one where a toddler holds a grudge sounds annoying, luckily zer0 made a mod which gets rid of that one.
