Seriously Devs stop putting sims in random outfits!

I am so sick of this at this point. I take the time to makeover and give all my Sims good outfits. Then whenever I see them around town they are wearing pink pants a green top and a dumb hat... Why...

When it comes to townies, I'd rather they be randomly assigned an outfit from a selection of preset outfits that actually make sense. Random components all put together isn't working.
