Share your occult storylines!

I once had a witch with a large, inherited house who took in a ‘sickly’ mermaid far from Sulani, a recently turned vampire and an alien from Sixam. It was pretty awesome.

The mermaid eventually returned to her native Islands where she was much happier by the proper sea. The vampire would run off down to the docks at night (the group lived in Brindleton Bay) to guiltily feed on passers by. The alien was about to go to University I think…

It's been really interesting reading all of your ideas. It really is inspiring me to get playing. I've just downloaded the werewolf pack and was messing around with that last night too, so another occult to add to the mix!

The main story for my world I think I'm going to go with is that there has always been magic and magical beings in our world, ruled over by the sages in the magic realm, who basically try to make sure that the occults are keeping hidden and behaving themselves. However, a couple of centuries ago, magic was exposed, and now, after alot of unease and fear, both occult and human have learned to live together. The sages still watch over things though, to make sure that there is still peace. Once you're a teen they even allow you to enter the magic realm and take a quest to prove you are worthy to become a spellcaster yourself.

For a personal storyline, I have an idea that there is a spellcaster, who's friend has died and she has managed to summon her spirit who is now bound to her and now 'haunting' her house. She is now trying to become powerful enough to bring her back from the dead.

Another storyline is a teen entering the magic realm and becoming a spellcaster, just following her journey.

A man with no memories of his past finds out that his body belonged to a scientist studying the Mother Plant currently terrorizing Strangerville. He also learns that not only is The Mother an extension of a living planet light-years away, but that that living planet is his mother, and he is a living planetoid.

A young vampire comes into possession of her late grandmother's vardo, parked on a plot of land in Glimmerbrook. She has an urge (like her grandmother) to steal, and has begun scratching her "itch". Despite her carefulness, she's caught the attention of a particularly callous benefactor.

A demigod wants to earn power over the reality he resides in, rather than using the powers inherent to him. With the help of his 2 vampiric wives, he strives to recreate himself in a manner not quite befitting his station.

A vampiric author has spent many lives carefully selecting and honing members of his makeshift family, and he has only really begun building his silent empire. Standing in the way are those who see his family's growth for what it is: a hydra growing more heads. He has ceased writing for the time being, instead accruing knowledge for his grand return to the long game. It'll be like a birthday for him. And what do you get the man who wants everything...?

Those are my current storylines, all set in the same universe (albeit different realities).

The Grim Reaper fell in love with a mortal woman, and married her. He gifted her with eternal life, and they had many, many, many children together. When their children become young adults they also have the option of accepting a gift of eternal life; however, they can either refuse or give back that gift at any time. The children have families of their own: some of them are vampires, some are spellcasters, some are werewolves; some are married to mortals, some to other occults, including aliens. They all live fairly regular lives, some work a regular job, others make money through selling artwork, or living off the land. All of them are essentially good, but they will punish wrong doers if they have to. B)

There's a lot of plans and schemes going on with my occults. Basically I've given them wider areas to inhabit. Aliens now live in Strangerville, Vampires in Windenburg, Spellcasters in Komorebi, Werewolves in Evergreen Harbour and mermaids will be living in Tartosa. Then there's clubs, vampire council, even a magic university for exchance students. Windenburg Old Town has Free Love NAP because vampires have charmed the place. I have writte a few occult stories in my blog, thought I would link them although some are not connected to the new stuff because they're older stories:

I'm doing a werewolf series NO MONEY CHEAT MODE. This story is about a family of three; two sisters and a daughter/niece. The auntie ends up becoming a werewolf. While she maintains her new lifestyle, her sister tries to raise enough money in the new town they are in. But like I say; NO MONEY CHEAT MODE. so they are very limited to the point that they don't have a picture on the wall or TV the only entertainment they have is books, a guitar, toys, and a garden. While the ladies are going back to school/College; the Auntie ends up falling in love with a female wizard. <3 RAINBOW CREW. <3
The mama human Still Hasn't Found Love yet. But how could she do that while raising the kid and going back to school while making end meat :/

Evilia Doom is a boss vampire lady who turned Vlad into a human Sim and announced herself as a Queen of Forgotten Hollow. Her family used Vlad as their plasma bag until Evilia's little sister Jessie decided to mess up everything. Jessie became a werewolf, worked her way up to an apex and aplpha of the WIldfangs, She hates Evilia and she fought with her, she won and turned Vlad into a werewolf. Now there's a full on war going on between the sisters. Evilia wants to destroy Jessie and all the werewolves and she's turning a lot of Sims into vampires to grow her vampire army strong enough. Jessie is doing the same with werewolves.
Evilia's secret weapon will be Agnes Crumplebottom who is going to be a bad*** vampire with an epic purse swinging ability. :D
Jessie is going to trust on werewolf Vlad.

That test save I started that's now grown into a full story is taking shape. There are several storylines to follow:

How will Lou take to family life? He's found his fated mate in Ava, and he's a proud dad, but can he handle domesticity?

What about Ava, she's growing stronger and more confident as a werewolf. Will she always be content to let her friend Rory lead the Wildfangs or will she decide she should lead the pack?

Rory is wracked with doubts. She worries that she may not be as good a leader as she hoped she'd be. Is it really a case of her not being a leader? Or is she just letting Khristopher get inside her head and fill her mind with doubts? Rory knows his secrets, one of which is that he's not necessarily the nice guy he comes across as. Khristopher has a darker side that he keeps hidden from most people but he unleashes it on what he considers his wayward daughter. He fears that if she succeeds more werewolves will embrace her view that being a werewolf is something to celebrate openly and loudly, not something to be low-key ashamed of.

Is Khristopher risking losing touch with his essential werewolfness, now that he's married to Brytani Cho and living in Windenberg? Lily and Jacob have tried to reason with him and prevent the marriage, but Khristopher would hear none of it. Did he choose to live in Windenberg knowing that Rory moved there to get away from him, and their strained relationship? Is he trying to break his rebellious daughter's spirit by hounding her around the world to bring her back into the Volkov family fold? Is he secretly trying to destroy the Wildfangs so that Rory will come crawling back?

How will lone wolf Judith deal with the increasing alienation she is feeling due to her out of control actions? Can she handle becoming an even bigger pariah than she already was? And now she won't be the only celebrity werewolf with Brytani Cho, one of her bigger rivals, having excepted 'the gift' from her husband Khristopher. For now Judith is unchallenged in her superiority as the alpha wolf in DSV, but for how long? How long will she be able to get away with her reign of bad behavior?

And what to make of the newcomer Lux Demarco? She has been hanging out on the fringes of the werewolf community, but why? Is it doubt and apprehension over what she's become? Or what she will become as her werewolf nature evolves?

My ideas are all over the place as I keep adding to my rotation and I keep thinking of more wolves, I stopped myself this time to finally touch up the magic realm a little bit, Morgan (red head) was glitched and couldn't age up for whatever reason but Wolfgang could. So she has run off to it to change her magic route and hopefully find love while he has forgotten about his human life to grow his pack. She's happy for him but she hates it ends that way. Her love interest is our other Morgyn, basic, just what I need.

My occult stories play out more as a sitcom with random adventures/slice of life scenarios. But the ones I've played the most recently are my residents of Mua Pel' Am; a vampire, a spellcaster and a merman.

The merman, Ikkanu Happati, is a trainee shaman who has lived alone on the island his whole life. He is more comfortable around plants and spirits of the dead than around living beings. This changed when Kio and Samphy moved onto the island. Kio Nightmear is a pacifist, vegetarian vampire who was banished from his original home, the Under Realm, for wanting to bake cakes instead of eating humans. Samphy Sparke-Undine is a, sometimes accident prone, virtuoso spellcaster who has a passion for inventing and investigating supernatural mysteries.

Recently, she and Kio explored the newly discovered area of Moonwood Mill. It made me laugh at how easy Greg was to subdue.


The three friends' lives is about to be changed again as another occult has just taken up residence on the remote beach, off the shores of the main island. The newcomer is an artificially created werewolf with her own magical abilities. Will everyone get along? And what scrapes will the occults of Mua Pel' Am get into next?
