I so agree with you! Personally, I fear that the restaurant is a dream, probably we'll get some new (old) buffet tables, but I so utterly hope I am wrong about that.

I have a spa in Sulani that also doubles as a hotel, so it has a couple of rooms that sims can use to sleep in while visiting Sulani. There's a tiki bar on the lot so sims could technically eat from the bar. But I also added the buffet table, because frankly, most hotel restaurants, and especially resort type hotels, serve buffet style food. I won't mind if they give us more buffet tables, especially if they are rectangular in shape and not rounded. Would also love different buffet tables to cater to different kinds of foods, like breakfast buffet table, or dinner buffet, or salads bar, or desserts, etc. But, I don't want my sims to have to fill the buffet tables themselves, would be nice if they were always stocked and available depending on the time of day, so you could always find food there between 7 am and maybe midnight. And of course, would love if they added the option for room service or mini bar.
