Should a Global Superstar Accept a Job In the Entertainment Career?

In my opinion, no.

The only benefit is that he won't have to start at level one. Unless you have the perks that give celebrities work related benefits, like the Easy Street perk, it's probably not worth it.

Thank you. I was of the opinion that along with other careers, the Entertainment Career had received an upgrade to accommodate GF. Doesn't appear as if that's so. I do thank you so much for your opinions. I decided to have my Sim turn it down. :)

The only upgrade would be the chance cards sims can receive to earn fame, which they can get from any career.

Well, he's already at the top of his fame, and I make certain he continues to perform those Fame + interactions so he doesn't slip. ;) So, those 'perks' won't matter.

When you say he was offered is that a story thing or an actual thing?

Actual thing. He's been getting various job offers due to his fame and likely his Pristine Reputation. But, yeah. I've had him turn things down systematically. But due to his broken relationships I did contemplate, for awhile, having him move into the Entertainment Career, so that I could send him to work, and keep his household in good order. Don't like seeing the tots not being properly cared for, even when an adult is left with them on the home lot. But, I finally decided to try the disable needs part of the Make Happy Cheat. I just get their needs all the way up and click on disable them so they don't slip once I follow him to 'work'. Once he's back I enable their needs decay again. Problem solved. I just don't understand why it took me so long to come to this conclusion. LOL Guess because I really try not to cheat with the toddlers.

Oh wow I had no idea that was a thing ? Haven’t gotten a Sim that high in fame yet.
