Sim had baby while inactive

Yup - happens all the time

My baby daddy Sim has gotten several inactive Sims pregnant; I'll peek into Manage Households and see the new offspring. One of the ones he got pregnant was Eliza Pancake and it was just before she aged into an Elder, so since she and Bob are getting up there in years I moved the child in with one of my other Sims (his dad's sister, plus her younger son and his new wife). I converted the home gym in their house to a second master bedroom for her, the boy has his own room, and her daughter-in-law is pregnant which will give her the 4th grandchild she needs for Big Happy Family aspiration.

They will always give birth, and they will always age to child. Even if you're not playing them, and aging is off. You can't stop those two things. :)

Yep, like a previous person stated an inactive female sim will give birth even if aging is off. It's not like Sims 2 where the family exists in a "limbo-state" like in Sims 2. Kinda weird.

That's stupid. It should either be like The Sims 2's style of rotational play or The Sims 3's story progression. All or none.

Yeah, it really messes with rotational gameplay, plus then you have to deal with changing the computer-generated names. Plummy, yes.

Kinda funny but I never actually wrote the word plum. The word I did write changed automatically when I posted the comment. Weird.

yep, if you make a autonomous sim pregnant or something make her pregnant, then the baby will born no matter you can do, but this dont means who their now can make babies by themselfs you still need to "help them", innactive dont means who the sim is completly frozen in time, somethings can happen, like pregnant womans give birth to babies or if you age is enabled, their age and even die of age, will be the only way for then die, if their dont die for something where you are at.
