- Scobren11 years agoLegendYeah I do have to agree that the textures of the Sims 3 are a lot better than 4. I mean just comparing the eyelashes alone is better.
But for comparison I'll try to find the best non-CC related Sims for both games. I noticed the default for a lot of the Sims 4 Sims are angry eyebrows. It bugs me I can't figure out how to change the thickness of them. If I tried, I could easily make ugly versions for all the Sims. XD

ROFL!
It's funny because it's true for me...sadly, all too true... :( - One style of graphics isn't better than the other, it's all subjective. You aren't going to be able to convince someone that their particular taste is bad, let's stop arguing and agree that The Sims 4 does look cartoony (that doesn't necessarily make it bad however).
I personally prefer cartoony to fail-realistic. - xBob1811 years agoNew Spectator

I prefer "fail realistic" to graphics that look like something out of a child's coloring book. "RoyaiChaos;13371170" wrote:

TS3 wasn't realistic, it never even tried to be realistic. TS2 was the same thing, even though the graphics are dated, they are more detailed.- xBob1811 years agoNew Spectator

Good to see a non-biased example.
Maybe find a TS3 sim made by someone who knows where the sliders are and how to use them?
I've seen tons of TS4 with extremely rounded cheeks and no definition. I guess it is all in the agenda you wish to push.
Lol, regardless of how the two Sims were created by the player, I'd take the "plastic" hair over what ever the heck that is in TS3.
I liked the hair in TS3, it reminded me of a non-animated version of TS2 hair. - GothicDarkling11 years agoRising Hotshot@CK213 @Vlaxitov: After TS4 was announced, I had hopes that it would look like my TS3 game did with CC. When I saw the first renders and screenshots I was horrified. No amount of CC can truly save the game for me, even though I like the variety it gives me in style and design, simply because it looks so out of place in the world EA created.
