Sims 4 is now darker then the sims 3.

I'm happy with my CASt, cars that you can drive, toddlers, teens that don't look just like YA's, and terrain tools. These are things I don't want to be without and will gladly trade for power outages or houses shaking.

Im sorry, I dont quite get what your comment has to do with this game being darker.

For one it is the better game. I play the old ones and I miss things you can do in 4.

I miss these too. A lot of absurd deaths in TS3 (vending machine lol) but now that my TS4 sims are like immortals I miss them :(

I don't know if darker is really the word. it's more like colorful.

Now that I think about it, I think sims 3 is a lot darker since how easy it is for sims to die of anything. I'm always affraid if my sims repairing a TV or cook a meal because there's so many casualty on the incident that already happen with those two activity.

You do realize that when your your OP has something like 4 is better than 3 you're going to get an argumentative thread right?

To me there is very little, if anything at all dark about TS4.

TS4....power goes out.....my Sims don't seem to notice.
TS3 Repo man shows up.....my Sims miss their stuff.

TS3 Every time I had a meteor hit the screen would shake plus it had destruction and Sims actually died.
TS4 earthquake hits....it remains to be seen what will actually happen and if it will make any difference to the Sims.

TS2 Sims got sick and they actually die.
TS4 Sims get sick and if you do nothing for them they still get better.

TS1-2-3 Sims could start a kitchen fire and could actually lose their house or die.
TS4 When Sims step away from the stove they actually turn the stove off first.

Yeah, I'll give you the earthquakes, but power has already gone out since the BG and they don't really care when it does.
I guess it does make the game darker though, in a literal sense :lol:

I don't understand. The only way ts4 gets darker than ts3 on my computer is when I turn off my monitor.
