Sims 4 Neighborhood Stories: A Mistake From EA?

I play with mods I just prefer how MCCC does story progression

Some the texts are kinda cute like a friend motivating another friend to get promotion

but then it starts getting incredibly weird and awkward when a neighbor asks you if she should try for a baby

I wouldn't mind the story texts if it was stuff like promotion motivation and not weirdly personal questions
